Cape Henlopen State Park campground is equipped with water access, a range of electric hook-up options (30-, 50-, and 100-amp), fire rings, and picnic tables for your comfort. You’ll also find a convenient one-way vehicle circulation system, a camp store, a laundry facility, pull-through campsites, walk-in tent sites, a play area, additional dump stations, a newly renovated registration booth, and an expanded overflow parking area.

  • Open year-round at select sites
  • Two-night minimum stay required on weekends
  • Some holiday weekends require a minimum stay of three nights (Friday through Sunday)
  • Reserve up to 14 nights
  • Reserve up to one (1) year in advance
  • One vehicle per campsite. Overflow parking available.

 

Can you swim at Cape Henlopen State Park?

Yes, there is a designated swimming beach at Cape Henlopen that is accessible from the Lewes entrance to the park. The swimming beach is supervised by lifeguard patrols between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day.
