Information

Originally, Fort Miles was an Army facility built to defend the region’s coastline and protect ships from enemy German fire in the Delaware Bay. The Fort Miles Museum’s impressive artifact collection allows guests to learn the ways in which past generations employed state-of-the-art technology to protect our country.

Operating Hours

The state park is open daily from 8 a.m. until sunset. COVID restrictions are still in place as of this writing (03/17/2021).
