Discover a wide range of recreational activities and amenities at Steamboat Landing campground including fishing, kayaking, crabbing, swimming, and events such as bingo, dances, vendor night, bands, corn hole tournaments, and food socials.

Fishing

Enjoy the convenience of fishing right off the docks. From there, you can reel in a variety of fish, including perch, catfish, eels, and carp. If you have a boat, set sail for the Delaware Bay, where you’ll find even more fish species to catch. Plus, we are a certified weigh station for the Delaware Fishing Tournament.

Kayaking

Bring your own kayak or canoe and launch from the first boat ramp. Paddle down the scenic Broadkill River for a leisurely experience, or challenge yourself by paddling all the way to Milton and back.

Boat ramps

We offer two boat ramps for your convenience. The first is perfect for kayaks and canoes, while the second, located near the gas slip, is ideal for jet skis and boats. Turn right onto the Broadkill River and venture into the Delaware Bay for a day of fun.

Crabbing

Catch big crabs from the fishing docks or set crab traps in the river from your boat. For bait, we recommend using chicken backs, which you can find in the general store, along with all the crabbing accessories you’ll need.

General Store

Your one-stop shop for camping essentials, the general store is conveniently located near the gated entrance. We offer a wide range of products, including ice, groceries, candy, gifts, decorations, t-shirts, fishing supplies, RV supplies, snow cones, snacks, and hand-dipped ice cream. Stop by the store for information, passes, and directions.

Pool

The in-ground pool, situated at the heart of the campground, offers a refreshing break from the outdoor activities. It features a 5-foot deep end and a 3-foot shallow end, accommodating up to 60 swimmers. Certified pool attendants are onsite, and there are 80 chairs and lounge chairs for sunbathing, as well as a shaded area. The pool is open Wednesday through Monday from 10am to 5pm.

Marina

With over 70 boat slips, the marina is located behind the general store and along Riverfront Lane. You can rent boat slips for a night, a week, or an entire season. The marina is the perfect place to catch stunning sunsets.

Events

In the Pavilion, there are always a variety of events on, including Bingo, dances, vendor nights, live bands, cornhole tournaments, and food socials like pancake breakfasts and hotdog and ice cream gatherings. We also feature seasonal events such as the Flounder Tournament, Halloween in the Park, Golf Cart Parade, and Yard Sale. Join us for memorable experiences and fun activities throughout the year.
