The Tower 7 Observatory is one of several fire control towers constructed during the Second World War to locate enemy ships approaching the Delaware Coast. Tower 7 is publicly accessible and provides one-of-a-kind vistas of the surrounding area, including the Atlantic Ocean, Fort Miles, and nearby woodlands.
The state park is open daily from 8 a.m. until sunset.
COVID restrictions are still in place as of this writing (03/17/2021). This means that any indoor areas within the state parks are still closed, including this one.
